Michael Alvarez is a Professor of Political Science at Caltech, where his teaching and research focuses on electoral politics in the United States. Co-Director of the Caltech-MIT Voting Technology Project, much of his recent worked has centered on issues of the internet and other technological solutions to electoral problems.
