John Fortier is a Research Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, where he is a principal contributor to the AEI-Brookings Election Reform Project. He is also the author of the recent book, Absentee and Early Voting: Trends, Promises, and Perils (AEI, 2006).
