U.S. Election Assistance Commission Public Meeting: Presentations on the National Voter Registration Act: What is Working & What is Not
Congress enacted the National Voter Registration Act (“Motor Voter Act”) in 1993 to ease the process of voter registration. Recently the EAC heard testimony from election officials and voter registration agencies to evaluate the efficacy of the law’s implementation.
