Election Day Registration: A Study of Voter Fraud Allegations and Findings on Voter Roll Security (PDF)
While the Supreme Court prepares to hear a case on voter identification laws, which are supported by some as a way to increase the integrity of the election process, researchers are also exploring whether certain policies create increased opportunities to commit fraud. A new analysis from Dēmos examines Election Day Registration (EDR) through that lens, concluding that states with EDR do not have higher levels of fraud.
